ISI Report 2011

An excellent range of extra-curricular activities contributes significantly to pupils’ learning and personal development.

We aim to make learning an exciting adventure, full of opportunities for personal development, achievement and enjoyment. We want to provide an education for life, giving our students the knowledge, skills and values they need to create their own successes as thoughtful and confident individuals in the world beyond.

Music is a large part of school life. Every child in Year 3 experiences playing stringed, woodwind and brass instruments.  In Year 4 all learn to play the guitar. In addition, our visiting music teachers are available to give lessons on a wide range of instruments.  Drama is also a strong aspect of our co-curricular programme and, of course, Sports play a significant role in school life.
