to represent the school.
There are two annual Caterham Football Tour-naments, one for Under 11s and the second for Under 9s, when the home teams compete against 9 or 10 other local school teams.
Caterham Prep is also part of the Caterham and Warlingham Schools' Football League.

SINGING
The Choir is made up of boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 11, and is one of many varied vocal groups at the school run by their Director of Music, Nicola Hickey. Under her direction they have
entered many local music festivals, coming away with numerous winners' awards and trophies, sung at RSCM festivals, at the Royal Albert Hall, In Winchester College Chapel, at the Sainsbury's Choir of the Year Competition, in various theatres, and performed at flower and music festivals and charity concerts. They regularly sing at major religious celebrations and have a full programme of school concerts throughout the year. They are looking forward to a concert tour In Brussels this summer.
The Junior Singers is an ensemble for the younger members of the Prep Schcool, In readiness for Joining the Choir later on.
COMPUTER CLUB
Those of a quieter disposition might enjoy the opportunity to make use of the ICT suite at Computer Club. Here they have
access to the Internet (safely screened), and a wide variety of educational games. A very popular club, this one!

ART CLUB
The Art Club continues to thrive, and children enjoy a variety of making and decorating activities through the year. Among these, two highlights have been children from Years 5 and 6 designing and making their own
solitaire games, and the children from Years 3 and 4 enjoying a pottery workshop.

ORCHESTRA
The Orchestra comprises some 40 children and meets regularly, playing a variety of both classical and popular music. Approximately two-thirds of the children in the Prep School learn a musical instrument and this makes for wonderful group music-making opportunities - string ensembles, saxophone ensemble, flute choir, clarinet choir, to name but a few ......
We have a number of specialist peripatetic teachers offering piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, trumpet, guitar and percussion tuition.

CHESS
Chess is the most recent addition to the co-curricular programme, and has been on the up and up since it began. Run by the Coulsdon Chess Foundation, pupils have earned a steady stream of trophies and promotions in the Saturday Primary Schools' Chess League.

SHORT TENNIS
Short tennis is available weekly for pupils in the Pre-Prep, with separate meetings for Years 1 and 2. The club is run by Limpsfield Tennis Club, and fees are payable for this activity.
Budding Wimbledon Champions can then go on to practise their skills in the Prep department's summer tennis club, which is free.

JUDO
Martial Arts fan may like to participate in the weekly Judo Club. Fees are payable for this activity as a Black Belt Judo expert is employed to coach the class.
Members are graded twice yearly, and receive certificates for their achievements.

WATERSPORTS
Watersports is a summer activity and takes place at a nearby watersports centre on a lake. Water babies can learn to canoe and windsurf, and have the opportunity to go on the annual watersports holiday to either Spain or France. One of the more popular activities, this one!

CROSS COUNTRY
Cross Country is a lunchtime club, and what a way to work up an appetite! This is one of the newer activities, and is achieving a higher profile. Children train each week, and participate in several inter-school cross country meetings during the year. Lots of fun to be had! Pupils who take part in this club are at a great advantage when it comes to the House Cross Country, in which all children from Years 3 to 6 participate.

MAGIC CLUB
Magic Club is the latest of the after school activities, and is available to children in Years 3 and 4. Will they be able to conjure up something magical?

NEEDLEWORK
Of course, only little sew and sews go to the Needlework Club! Some delightful pieces of work are produced here, by both
boys and girls, and it provides a gentle, sociable end to the day.
