The Head

Howard Tuckett was appointed as Head of Caterham Prep School in April 2005. Previous posts have included Deputy Head at King’s Hawford School in Worcester and Headmaster at St. Joseph’s College Prep School in Ipswich.

Born in Epping in 1960 Howard was educated at Westville Boys High School near Durban, South Africa, where he matriculated in 1978. Howard qualified as a teacher at Natal University, Edgewood College in 1983 and received an MA in Education from the Open University in 1998.

Howard is married to Colleen and they have two children.

Howard is a keen fisherman, gardener, reader and collector of books.
